  • What are your other hobbies?
    Legos, playing games, and I guess you can call running a hobby

  • If you weren’t doing improv, where would you be? Playing silly pranks on my family and friends.

  • What is your favorite improv scene you’ve been in? It was a scene at the DMV and I played a character that quietly read a magazine and had one line at the end of the scene.

  • Who is your comedy idol? Jerry Lewis, Martin Short, and Eddie Murphy.

  • 10 words or less of what improv means to you? To just be your true authentic self and play.

  • Where will you be in 10 years? Leading adult summer camp.

  • Anything else we should know? I got your back.

Instructor


Gary started improv as a way to improve his public speaking, and it was love at first sight. He has studied at National Comedy Theatre, Sidestage Improv, and has taken a dozens of workshops and drop-ins with various instructors. Gary loves to infuse improv with positive psychology so that his students leave with a renewed sense of life. Gary leads play retreats and workshops through his company BreakthroughPlay. He is also a trainer in our corporate program.

Performer


Gary performs most Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm with the FCI Pro League.
