What are your other hobbies?
Writing, basketball, and convincing strangers I’m Bruno Mars.

If you weren’t doing improv, where would you be?
Middle-manager in corporate America or gambling my life savings away at a poker table in Vegas. Probably both.

What is your favorite improv scene you’ve been in?
Attending a “Lion King”-themed high school prom.

Who is your comedy idol?
Conan O’Brien. Ithamar Enriquez. Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer.

10 words or less of what improv means to you?
The funnest cult in the world.

Where will you be in 10 years?
Still cheating on smog tests with my ‘02 VW Golf.

Anything else we should know?
“Hitch” is the greatest rom-com of the 2000s and it’s not even close.


Julius joined the FCI ensemble in 2016 and performed with resident Armando shows “The World According to..” and “Found Family”, along with various indie teams. He currently teaches core classes with a focus on advanced scene work and the Harold, and previously coached house team “Killer Giraffe”. He studied and performed improv and sketch at The Second City Hollywood and iO West in Los Angeles.

When not performing or teaching, Julius runs Yes-And-One, a co-ed recreational basketball league for the San Diego improv community.
