Help Wanted: Digital Marketing Assistant

Seeking Digital Marketing assistant to work with fun and passionate group of people on part-time temporary basis.
Build your portfolio! Learn Improv! Create fun!

We are looking for someone to work with us this summer (and possibly longer!) to create additional awareness of our programs and services and to help us engage our existing community of students, fans, and performers. You will will have awesome opportunities to contribute and implement ideas for digital marketing efforts towards those goals. And…you will earn more as you meet or exceed these goals.

This is an ideal position for a recent grad or current marketing major.

The position is part-time, approximately 12 hours per week. A regular schedule will be established with you.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proficient with WordPress and basic CSS (to update or add to our existing site)
  • Can create and update basic graphics in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign (we constantly need graphic elements for our site and campaigns)
  • Ability to write engaging content for twitter, FB, instagram, etc.
  • Experience with setting up a Google Adwords campaign and tracking it’s results using Google Analytics

IT WOULD BE COOL IF YOU:

  • You can shoot videos, edit them, and get people to watch them on Youtube.
  • Have ideas for reaching and converting new audiences you want to try out
  • have a great eye for graphic design
    can help with SEO
  • Can identify trends and have insists on digital marketing opportunities
  • Has awesome knowledge of Google Analytics tools and how to capitalize on insights

Ideally, you will have a passion for the arts and enjoy working as a member of a tight-knit and dedicated team. At times, we all pitch in when needed to run an errand, answer the phone, and such. We use the diverse strengths of our team to brainstorming strategy with the team and tackle projects.

This is a great chance for someone to build a digital marketing portfolio. You will be mentored by digital marketing “Jedi” Gary Ware. He will help ensure that you are on the right track in regards to digital marketing best practices. You will work directly with the owner and Artistic Director of FCI on all projects and see the results of your efforts in the community you help create at our theater and training center!

Compensation: $10.50/hr base pay plus bonuses based on performance/outcomes. You will also enjoy 50% off improv classes and enjoy free admission to all shows. (this is pretty much what everyone here makes – compensation is tied mostly to performance)

Desired start date: ASAP! position is slated to run from June through August.
