Ate too many cookies and need to laugh off the extra pounds? Whatever the reason, Finest City Improv is San Diego’s headquarters for bold improv comedy!
At Finest City Improv we offer a unique, entertaining night out. Laugh with us every Thursday through Sunday! Tickets range from just $6 – $10.00 nightly, plus we offer a fully stocked bar, a delicious food menu and we never have a drink minimum.

Castaway Featuring the Finest City Improv Ensemble
This cage match style performance will pit the FCI Ensemble against each other, but all in good fun! Each improviser is randomly assigned to a series of improv games and scenes, and one by only they walk the plank according to audience votes. This performance is a great way to catch the amazing talent of the FCI Ensemble in action! Castaway, produced by Chris George, will occur on Saturday, December 6 @ 9:30PM as part of our one year anniversary celebration!
Wet The Hippo
Fan of the San Diego International Fringe Festival? Then you do not want to miss Wet the Hippo on Sunday, December 7 at Finest City Improv! Wet the Hippo is a collaboration of super twisted and awesomely fearless performers who create sublimely irreverent and beautifully chaotic live shows. Wet the Hippo features John Gilkey who performed previously with Cirque Du Soleil appearing in more productions than any other clown. John was most recently seen in Cirque Du Soleil’s Iris at the Dolby Theatre. Wet the Hippo was nominated BEST COMEDY in the 2013 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Learn more at www.wetthehippo.com. This month also marks the return of the Tricorn Scramble, a competition that awards the winner a spot in the San Diego Improv Festival! Catch the Tricorn on Thursday, December 11 and Thursday, December 18.
Also this month, catch a special holiday radio play on Friday, December 12 and Saturday, December 13 @ 8PM. This holiday horror is nothing like you’ve ever seen. Written by Jonathan Hammond, Old Main, A Holiday Horror Radio Play is the perfect counter programming for your typical Christmas pageant.
