The Business Development Associate will be responsible for acquiring new clients and partners primarily for our corporate entertainment and professional development programs. We have a great track record so far of delivering engaging event entertainment, team building workshops, and keynote speeches to dozens of great companies like WD-40, GoPro, Reef, Sperry Van Ness, Kaiser, and the SD Museum of Man. Come help us leverage our reputation and contacts to create more awesome opportunities and bring improv to many more organizations!
The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, be comfortable interacting with company decision makers, and have an interest in connecting people to improvisation both as entertainment and as a tool for professional and personal growth. We are seeking a self-starter who can develop leads, recognize opportunities, close sales, and take fantastic care of every client. You must be calling new leads on a daily basis and take initiative to implement company growth strategies.

Collaborate with company directors to set goals and strategy.
Engage new accounts to generate sales of our applied improvisation for businesses program.
Implement marketing strategies such as email campaigns, event booths, and networking events.
Provide follow-up with prospects and clients
Identify and pursue new ways to reach specific target markets
Desired Skills And Experience
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Experience with improvisation, corporate training, organizational development, professional development, public speaking, entertainment, or related disciplines.
Experience in sales or business development.
Excellent client relationship skills.
Ability to demonstrate a track record of results.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and friendliness.
A self-starter who is goal-oriented and hard-working.

Finest City Improv was founded in 2011 as a way to entertain, inspire and bring joy and laughter to the community of San Diego. From performers, to students, to loyal fans, and first time visitors, we promise a playful and return-worthy experience with our commitment to sharing, teaching and connecting people with laughter. Performances are every Thursday through Sunday in our cabaret theater in the North Park area of San Diego and soon moving to our new location in Hillcrest. Classes are available for all levels of improv students and instructed by an experienced teaching staff. We have taught over 1,000 students!
